    3. Hi all from extremely hot and dry Ontario. Sorry to read Victor had the worst yorkshire pudding over here, I think it is probably the flour. My late husband loved yorkshire pudding but I could never make them here like I did in England. So now I have resorted to cheating I buy imported from Yorkshire of course frozen ones. My girlfriend from Yorkshire even gave them to her husband he did not seem to notice the difference. Remember years ago we had quite a discussion on this topic. Best regards Tricia Backhouse. P.S. Pls send some of your rain over here we need it.

    3. Not the flour Tricia. My Yorkshire born grandmother, mother (both now deceased) and myself make Yorkshire pudding with Robin Hood flour with great success. 3. P.S. Pls send some of your rain over here we need it. Tricia My arrival at Ottawa was greeted by a thunderstorm. I was met by a cousin. It was our first ever meeting. Her ancestor, Christopher Ford, left Bridlington in 1823. His sister Rachel is my 3 x great grandmother. I stayed with my cousin. who loves in Portland, for the next few days and all I got was rain with low temps. It was too wet and cold to go anywhere. We spent the time discussing our family. This is not helped by her not having any family tree software but she had hard copies. I left her to drive round the country with the idea of spending the last few days with her and seeing the sights she wanted to show me. When I got back to her home...it rained and rained! So we never saw the sights but did visit a few cemeteries at Williamsburg, South Gower and Morewood. Guess I better visit again bringing the rain with me so your wish will be granted! Victor
