Before this thread gets banned. Roy is stirring again. There are just as many British, English, Chilean. Italian, Spanish, Eastern European block members etc. etc. working in Australia in bars, restaurants and studying at our UNI's etc.... we applaud them for going out of their comfort zones and getting the experience of living and working in different countries. I am very grateful that my ancestors left England and Scotland and came to Australia. They came out between 1788 and 1911, some convicts but mostly free settlers. My husband's people left Albania in 1928. What a wonderful thing for me that they did. I'm still trying to prove where my grandfather's BRIGGS branch came from, Yorkshire or Kent or elsewhere.
