I have received a yorksgen post today with a very obvious spam heading and if I designate it as such, will I be unsubbed? David Hi David I have the same problem. If only people would sign their letters in the usual way I am sure it would stop this. 3. Hello David, Does this supposed Yorksgen message appear in the Yorksgen archive at http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/YORKSGEN/? If so, then I have missed it, but it should be reported to Rootsweb immediately. If it does not appear in the archive, then it is not a genuine Yorksgen mail and should be consigned to your spam folder and deleted. The Rootsweb system filters out all spam mails - or should do. No message can get through to the list unless from a genuine subscriber, with an email address that the system recognises. Kind regards, Janice Wood Yorksgen List Administrator ________________________________ From: "JJupar@aol.com" <JJupar@aol.com> To: Davidandmaggie@aol.com; yorksgen@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, 19 September 2012, 10:34 Subject: Re: [YORKSGEN] non gen.....Deleting spam without being unsubscribed In a message dated 18/09/2012 18:27:04 GMT  Daylight Time, Davidandmaggie@aol.com writes: Apologies for a non  genealogical post but how can I send a  post to the spam folder without  being unsubbed and then  having  to resub?
