Hi Pauline, Last Saturday the London group of Yorkshire FHSs had a very interesting talk at the SOG from Celia Heritage about using school records in family history. I t seems that whilst some school records have found their way into the local county archive, others may still be with the school. As there were numerous types of school in the 19th C some records have disappeared altogether.
