Hello Listers, I for one would far rather have occasional off topic posts than all the garbage that has been appearing on the bottom of the mailings lately. This list has always been known as a "question friendly list" with "knowledgeable" members, "knowledgeable" replies, and very open to debates. Who knows maybe the question on computer operation and book writing was about her YORKSHIRE relatives and history. An aside, how come posts have dropped so dramatically, from a high for the year in May of 229 to a low of 47 to date in Nov!! Is it because of a new List Administration??? Let the list members decide what they want to write about and receive. And don't give me the BS about other lists being available. We already know that, and chose YORKSGEN.
