Hi List I am trying to trace a family called Goddard. I have traced back to 1841 through the census having come from Stainbrough near to Barnsley in Yorkshire.. The 41 census has a John Goddard, who was born in 1801, but as you know on the 1841 just says the County of birth. I feel sure they may have still been in Stainbrough prior to 1841.
