    1. [YORKSGEN] Writing up work in Book form PROBLEM
    2. Kenneth Littlewood via
    3. May I just explain my resent posting to your list and why. My personal opinion is that my topic was family history and I never thought it any different when I posted and have broken one of your rules inadvertently. I assumed all family history researchers at some time in their years decide to put their efforts into Book form, to be in some order and understandable by them and others, and most important somewhere Safe to record all their years of searching. So I naturally thought this was the best place to post, as they must be hundreds writing up their research like me in some form or another and would be free to give help and advice. It appears I assumed wrongly and have subscribed to the wrong list. Please don't follow this tread any further I don't want fall outs. Good luck in your future research and a big thank you to those who have given me advice on this subject. Joan Littlewood

    3. Joan .... I absolutely feel your post / problem was just fine. Certainly relevant for me as I persevere on getting my book going (which includes many North Yorkshire ancestors) I was very interested in your problem, although I had not solutions to offer Take care Susan Harrison Ontario Canada ________________________________ From: Kenneth Littlewood via <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2014 9:45 AM Subject: [YORKSGEN] Writing up work in Book form PROBLEM May I just explain my resent posting to your list and why. 3. I don't wish to fuel a huge debate or fall foul of the administration of this group but I feel that Joan's question was relevant to many of us who are collating our family trees into a document for further use. If I'd had a similar query, I admit that this is one of the places where I would first think to post my question as many subscribers might be able to assist. People in this group are very generous with their time and experience and it would be a shame if we couldn't tap into that on occasion for a problem/query that is genealogy related but may not be purely Yorkshire related Sue On 12-11-2014 14:45, Kenneth Littlewood via wrote: > May I just explain my resent posting to your list and why. > > My personal opinion is that my topic was family history and I never thought it any different when I posted and have broken one of your rules inadvertently.
