Hi, You don't say which version of MS Word or Windows you are using, but the message is clear enough (memory = RAM). 75MB is large for a MS word document in my experience and the fact that you could load a 130MB document before suggests that there are more programs running in RAM than before. Possible solutions are: 1. Remove programs from RAM (i.e. stop them loading on start-up) 2. Delete unwanted files from disk 3. Add more RAM 4. Change the way images are managed in Word, i.e. link them rather than embed them in document. Hope this helps. Good luck! For years I have used Microsoft Word Document as my way of recording my family History in the form of a Book with script and scanned pictures, and save the pictures in JPEG Format. This as been OK but for some reason when opening up my book I now get a message,....... "there is not enough memory or disk space to display or print". The file is presently 75 MB ..... I have had the same file with 130MB and had no problems. Does any one have an idea how to rectify my problem of perhaps another way to use another file system. Hi James Thank you for answering my mail, I am running My windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office XP professional which I think is 2002. Perhaps I will have to copy all my script in small sections then transfer to another file then add all my photos time consuming, .... Have you any suggestions to what program will suit this, as I don't want this trouble again.
