    1. Re: [YORKSGEN] Book Sought: No Title, No Author!!

    3. Hello, Colin, Have you inquired about the book at any university libraries?  It seems to me a good reference librarian could possibly help you in your quest -- preferably one with subject expertise in the history of church decoration in Yorkshire, or similar topics, in rare books. Failing that, you could try posting your query on STUMPERS-L (I think it still exists)--a mailing list used by professional librarians in the past to seek colloquial input on difficult reference questions. Good luck! 1. [YORKSGEN] East India Company records for the Middle East Digitised
    2. Colin Withers via
    3. The records of the East India Company, pertaining to the Middle East have now been digitised, funded by the Qatari government. If you had relatives in the East India Company, or who travelled on their ships through the Middle East and on to India and beyond, then this could be a lucky dip for you. http://www.qdl.qa/en Colin --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
