Can anyone help me please to find the birth or baptism of Thomas Haigh? From information I have, I believe it would be in approximately 1744 and in the Pontefract area, but I have not found him in the Pontefract records. Information I have is that he married Ann Wright in Pontefract in 1781, and that he died in Pontefract in 1805. He was a publican, possibly the owner of the Cross Keys. I know of three sons, George, John and Thomas, and a daughter Betty, all baptised in Pontefract between 1783 and 1788. Happy New Genealogy Margaret Switzerland
