    3. Hi Sharon I confess I am trying to get my head around that situation Could you not share one subscription, I can log in on two computers in the same house and search on both, I can have as many trees as I want to If one subscription couldn't handle separately synch'd trees from two computers, if one had the trees on their computer synch'd to Ancestry both would update, the other person given editor rights to their tree so they could edit from the other computer When synch ends, each person could upload a tree to one subscription periodically as used to be the norm pre synch function Although you already have two issues of software, I am not even sure you needed to pay for two, surely you are licensed to have it on at least two computers in one licence ============= As far as getting less value, there was no extra charge for the synch function so taking it away has no effect, a great many Ancestry users never use all the facilities available but they pay the same subscription Some don't synch or have never had a tree on Ancestry at all, others have a tree but don't use the site either at all or only for short periods, they still pay the same Ancestry have mooted that they are looking at adding more printing and report options to the online tree version, but as you have yours on FTM you can continue to use it as you are doing The vast amount of records on Ancestry is only growing larger, even when synch finishes you can still download the record and attach it to your tree Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 11/12/2015 19:40, Pontefract FHS via wrote: > Some very interesting comments from Ancestry, but lots of ifs and maybes. > > The comments about there being no rush and plenty of time do not take into > account a financial consideration.
