Just to have my two cents worth. I use "Legacy" Deluxe which I believe cost me all of $25. That is my working tree. I then use a ged file to upload where I wish. I encourage contacts to try "Tribalpages" (free) one of the places I have `parked`my tree. Has worked for me for about 16 years. Does FTM NOT allow Ged files to be extracted.............. Hi Elaine Yes Ancestry allows gedcom export but does not include images So if a user only has an online tree with images attached on Ancestry, the easiest way would be to buy a copy of FTM2012 or FTM2014 and synch the two, thereby downloading a complete copy of the Ancestry tree with images Then you can probably import the resulting FTM file on the host computer into other software packages, no doubt some things would differ but the main tree would be as on FTM Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 09/12/2015 19:27, Elaine Pickard via wrote: > Just to have my two cents worth. > > I use "Legacy" Deluxe which I believe cost me all of $25.
