    3.  Thanks for the very helpful info on getting up the missing images from the search data.  My only problem was finding the last - image - number.  I was dealing with box 35, so the directions were very helpful getting to the right film, but finding the actual image was a nightmare.  Very few of the images had a readable bundle number, some of the images had nothing on them whatsoever, and I finally found the number I was looking for - 76 - at image 414, by which time I'd nearly given up!  I don't know any easier way to have found it, except just going through them and checking about every 5 or so to see if I was near the right date.  At least, they did seem to be going more or less in date order.  But what a nightmare! And I had trouble trying to save the images in any really readable format.  I ended up doing a "print screen" at the highest possible zoom, 3 or 4 times for each page, and otherwise saving into my picture files.  Does anyone have any better suggestion for saving?  Printing them out from the file doesn't give a very large image, not really readable at all.Diane  ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave King via" <yorksgen@rootsweb.com> To: "Nivard Ovington" <ovington.one@gmail.com>; <yorksgen@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2016 5:17 AM Subject: Re: [YORKSGEN] Richmond wills on Ancestry > For anyone who has had difficulty With missing images in this new dataset > on Ancestry, I have had the following very helpful suggestion from West > Yorkshire Archives, and confirmation that the full set of images should be > there > > > " .. if you find any index only entries to probate records there is a way > to try to find the associated image.  If you make a note of the document > reference number there is a way to browse the records using that number. > Each of the Archdeaconry of Richmond probate records start with the > reference RD/AP1.  The next part of the reference number refers to the > boxes they are found in and the last part of the number is the individual > item number.  So, for instance, if you were to search for the records of > Bryan Pick you'll get an index card with the reference RD/AP1/157/126; the > number 157 refers to box 157 and the number 126 is the 126th bundle within > that box. > > The images do seem to be there but for some reason they're not linking to > the index pages.
