I am attempting to link Thomas Longstaff, born c.1787, Great Ayton and buried there in 1828 [whose daughter Mary (born 1810 Great Ayton) married Robert Hutchinson in in 1831] with Richard Langstaff, Mariner, who died in 1769 in Great Ayton. I have seen the pedigrees online of the different La(o)ngstaff families of Yorkshire, Co.Durham etc. but they do not perovide sufficient information to enable me to make the connection. I have also checked the PRs of Great Ayton 1600-1812 published on archive.org. Any help or suggestions welcomed. Ruth in Hampshire
