Again not sure how useful this is. I have Office 2003 running on Windows 10 64 bit without any problems. The only thing about this version is it is no longer supported by Microsoft. Windows 10 update for me caused no problems at all. I am sure you can get a small program from Microsoft to check if you have any programs which are not compatible with Windows 10. It will become necessary to upgrade as Microsoft stop the support for older versions and leave them vulnerable to hackers. My advice would be go for the upgrade whilst it is free (till July i think). If you have any concerns and to be honest even if you don't, create a Clone of your system (Plenty of software available) so you have a backup. If you do upgrade you can (for a month I think) role back to the previous system from within Windows 10 very easily. Brian -- From a Dog Walker and Birdwatcher.
