I have older version of FTM. My Family Tree Maker is August 05, 2000, Version 8.0 for Windows 95, 98. Should I buy a newer version or wait? Yes, Windows 10 upgrade is free, I just haven't accepted it yet because I am worried about FTM not working. I also have Office 2010, I assume that will work with Windows 10? Linda Why bother changing to Windows 10. If everything is working ok stay with it until you have to change your PC. Why? Because Microsoft is stopping updates for older versions of Windows so your computer could be vulnerable, even though you have Anti-virus installed. The early versions of FTM had just a single figure then they changed it to year version I too have Office 2010 but took out office 365 last year I hesitated about this because it involved annual subscription but then learned that it also included 1Tb of One Drive which meant I could move many of my files to on line storage and access them via either my desk top, laptop or mobile which made the annual subscription worthwhile -----Original Message----- From: "Linda via" <yorksgen@rootsweb.com> Sent: 03/02/2016 21:57 To: "YORKSGEN@rootsweb.com" <YORKSGEN@rootsweb.com> Subject: [YORKSGEN] FTM and windows 10 I have older version of FTM.
