An elderly neighbour has his family tree on an old computer, done some 10 years ago. He now has a new computer, an Apple and would like to know which software is compatible withis make. Once we have that, we can maybe move his faily tree over. Would appreciate some help please. Was his old computer an Apple Mac?? If not and it was a PC, it will be very difficult to find software. PC's and Apple Mac's have different operating systems and require different software, not all software available for PC is available for Apple. Hopefully, if the PC is still running, it can produce a Gedcom which can be imported on the Mac.
