It would appear by the brickwork that the house has grown over the years, possibly in four stages. I believe my ancestors Isaac & Frances (Tindle) HAIRSINE owned the property. The family is shown on the 1871 (minus Frances as she died in the previous year) census as farming 220 acres. Both are buried in St Mary's graveyard.
