My line : Three brothers that we know of came to America from Germany, ( have heard some cousins say it was Kandel Germany ) Their names were Johann Yetter, Charles Yetter, & Louis Yetter. We do not know if they came at the same time, however. Our line comes from Johann Yetter who came with his wife Salome both born in Germany ( no dates ) they brought their children Louisa, Fred, Charles, Margaretha, & Henry b. 5-6-1877 ( our line ) there are no dates for his sibs. Their children were Margaretta Louisa (Peggy) b. 10-22-1913 McKeesport, Pa. d. 6-22-1913 mar. 1. Howard Geary 2. John Trojan , no child. w/either spouse. Then Henry & Martilla's 2nd child Henry Powers Yetter b. 3-24-1915 Pgh. Pa. mar. 6-20-1945 Betty Jane Gilkey b. 3-23-1923 d. 6-20-1945 Pgh. Pa. children, David Henry Yetter b. 10-8-1946 d. 4-4-1957 , Charles Robert Yetter b. 12-28-1950 d. same day, Betty Jane Yetter b. 10-1-1954 Wilkensburg , Pa. mar. 9-22-1983 Jay Breneman no children. Henry Yetter b. 1877 who mar. Martilla Viola Powers; her father was David Henry Powers b. 1-31-1844 McKeesport, Pa. whose mother was Julia Ann McKee b. 8-11-1820 in Mifflin Twp. Pa. d.12-7-1892 McKeesport , her gg grandfather was David McKee b. 1710 Scotland for whom they named the town of McKeesport, Pa. I am new at this so please correct me if I did this wrong.
