    3. Yoder Researchers, After seeing Judy's comment on "Pedigree Collapse", I thought of an article that I had just seen, and wanted to pass the address along. The article is on the Olive Tree Genealogy Page and is entitled "How many ancestors do we have?" http://www.rootsweb.com/~ote/ancnm.htm In my ancestry, I have a lot of "Collapse" on my Grandfather Yoder's side of the family. I tell people that I am 1/4 Amish. On the other Branches of my family, I have only a handfull of multiple ancestors. Which, when you get back 11 to 12 generations, means you are searching for a lot of surnames.
