    3. Thanks for the follow up Steven. Often people *believe* that all persons of surname X descend from person Y. It's a nice romantic notion, but its realistically impossible to prove but only takes one exception to disprove. Besides the claim only makes sense if someone in history just made up a brand new surname out of the blue that no one else had. Okay, now back to sifting through the Yoder Roll Call!
