After seeing multiple lines of Yoder descent, I feel somewhat "YODERly-challenged". I have only one line of descent, eight generations from Conrad Yoder in Carolina: Conrad Yoder (died April 1790) married Christina Klein (1742-about 1771) John Yoder, Sr. (1764-1836) married Mary Barbara Reib ( 1763-1842) John Yoder, Jr. (1795-1870) married Sarah Whitener (Weidner) (1793-1869) Andrew Yoder (1836-1896) married Catherine Hahn (1838-1885) Julia Ann Yoder (1858-1912) married (Reuben Propst (1855-1942) Anna Catharine Propst (1886-1980) married Perry Lafayette Yount (1883-1966) Hubert Yount (1906- ) married Lora Morrison (1907-1997) Ray Yount (me) (1934- ) married Agnes Bell (1937- ). All the above lived in what is now Catawba County in the North Carolina Piedmont until we moved to Western Maryland 35 years ago. We are in La Vale, 25 miles east of Grantsville, MD where the Yoder House is being built.
