The references for the different families come from "Amish and Amish Mennonite Genealogies" by Hugh F. Gingerich and Rachel W. Kreider. This book was published in 1986 by Pequea Publishers, Gordonville PA. I bought my copy for $60.00 in 1992 at the Gospel Book Store in Berlin OH. It is an extensive book that includes most of the Amish immigrants to this country and their descendants that were Amish up to about 1850. It is probably the best investment that I ever made in a genealogy book. Steven A. Braman YR2611695512 http://www.wws.net/sbraman mailto:braman@wws.net
