Rec'd note on July 10 from Chris Yoder Saying Alan Adrianson looking for descendants of Moses Yoder, first husband of Rebecca Eash. In my own records none of the Moses Yoders married a Rebecca Eash, however I offer my Eash information as a possible route to finding your particular Moses. Catherine Stutzman (b. 9/25/1793 d. 2/17/1879) married Daniel Eash (b.9/3/1793 d. 2/17/1879) children: Tobias, Henry, Susan, Annie, Moses and John Daniel was the son of Bishop Jacob Eash (1774-1850) who was married to Susanna Miller (d. 1842) There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 Yoders in Catherine's children's generation. It is my experience that every family repeats Christian/given names over and over and marrying cousins was a fairly common practice. So, for example, Moses could have been a nephew of Catherine's and still have married a niece of Daniel's! I have a feeling this does not shed light. It is my only offering on the subject. Good luck.
