HOLDEMAN DESCENDANTS (1937 by Edwin L. Weaver) states that The John Yoder family had moved from Pa. to Ohio in 1818. They lived in Columbiana Co., near Leetonia, Ohio. He died in 1866 and is buried in the Nold (?) Men. Cem., Fairfield Twp, Columbiana Co. OH. Later (1826) one of his younger brothers, Peter S. Yoder also moved to the Leetonia area. This is the family of Abraham Yoder who was married to Maria Sell.
