I'm looking for information about John Yoder (1777-1820), s/o Abraham Yoder and Maria Sell. Did he stay in PA, and if so, what township (Upper Saucon, Lehigh Co?) or did he move to Wayne Co OH. His daughter Nancy married Amos Holdeman. Harvey S. Rutt says in THE GENEALOGY OF THE SHAUM AND HOLDEMAN FAMILIES that Nancy & Amos married in PA. Rutt mentions Nancy's brother, "Uncle John Yoder", and says Nancy was "a woman of great strength of mind, of extreme force of character". I'll send the whole quote if anyone is interested.
