Kentucky Post Publication Date: 02-25-2003 Orpha Yelton Howe, 87, of Alexandria, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She worked in the office of her husband, longtime Alexandria physician Dr. Allie Howe, who died in 1987. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Alexandria, and Alexandria Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 158. Survivors include a sister, Naomi R. Whitaker of Fairfax, Va.; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.
