However, there's another Ira Yelton who was born 3 Dec 1872 and died in Riverside, CA on 26 June 1956. The California death index states that he was born in Kentucky, and that his mother's maiden name was Hopkins, so this may not be the right one, either. There are not all that many Yeltons from Kansas. Verle Yelton was born in 1913, so his father was probably born roughly between 1860 and 1890. I did a search in my database, and the only possibility I see is Edwin Yelton (since Ira's middle initial was E), who was born in 1863. However, Edwin's mother's name was Sarah Underwood. I don't have any record of a Richardson marrying a Yelton. Cheryl
