Hi Cheryl, I show John H. Yelton born: 29 Apr 1809 died:19 May 1870 taken from: Birth & Death dates from "Monument Inscriptions of Pendleton County, KY" by Eric C. Nagle & Larry L. Ford. Of course, the inscription may have been wrong - wouldn't be the first time would it? I've been wracking my brain and can't think of another explanation for John H. to be on that census at all. If he did die on 19 May, she may not have known the exact date and so the census taker may have taken the conservative route and entered him in case he died after 1 June?? I know, thats grasping at straws... I hope someone has a better explanation for you. Iris
