I'm replying to my own message, because I found some more information about this family. First, I found a marriage record in the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index that shows James Yelton marrying Keziah Barlow on 20 Mar 1859 in Fulton Co, IL. Second, I found Abram Barker, his wife Gertrude, and daughter Ethel in the 1900 Census for Story County, IA. Susan Jane Yelton is also a member of the household, and the census states that she had 2 children, both of whom are living.
