I was going through some old papers and came across the following obit. Wanted to share it. The Kentucky Post, Thursday, December 29, 1994 (part of The Cinncinati Post) "Edgar Otto Yelton, 83, of Falmouth, formerly of Portsmouth, Ohio, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday from injuries sustained in a single-car accident on Ky 23, Falmouth-Brookville Road, near Falmouth. He retired in 1972 after 23 years of employment with the American Laundry Co. in Norwood, Ohio. His wife of 52 years, Mabel Johnson Yelton, died in 1985; and a son, Richard Arthur Yelton, died in 1935. Survivors include daughters, Ruth Helen Haddix Brandenburg of Butler, Ruby Aulick of Falmouth, Emma Jean Thayer of Grants Lick, and Frances Louise Linville of Carlisle; brothers, Ralph Yelton of Bonifay, Fla, Paul Yelton of Walkerton, Ind., and Stanley Yelton of Lexington; sisters, Hattie Lonaker, Mildred McKinley and Lucille Yelton, all of Falmouth, Lenora Justice of Union Mills, Ind., Ruth Maywood of Orlando, Fla., and Margaret Dorman of Erie, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will be there from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Pendleton County. Memorials are suggested to the Falmouth Wesleyan Church Building Fund." Hope this will be of help to someone now or in the future.
