GILLESPIE, 93, a retired employee of Interlake and Newport Steel and the former Pendleton County Jailer, died Saturday at the Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights. He was a Kentucky Colonel and held 50-year memberships in Orion Lodge 222 F&AM of Falmouth and Falmouth Council, Junior Order of United American Mechanics. Surviving are three sons, Earl J. Gillespie of Weatherford, Texas and Harold "Buck" Gillespie and Kenneth Gillespie, both of Falmouth; a sister, Gertie Yelton of Falmouth; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
