I, too, got to meet a Yelton cousin, and have been meaning to write and tell you about it. Suzanne's meeting with Iris spurred me on. I got to spend two wonderful days in March with my cousin Carol Yelton Plato. It seems as though we've been friends since we first "met", on line, through geneology. We corresponded by email and snail mail and occasionally phone calls ... and when we finally met in person, she was even more warm, wonderful, gracious, etc. than I'd ever imagined. Her husband is a terrific man, showing me that marrying a Yelton descendant is certainly a sign of great intelligence. The time I spent with these terrific people was priceless, and I encourage you all to seek out your relatives. It is enormously gratifying. Judy Vasiliauskas

On the subject of meeting Yelton cousins, I think it would be good to let each other know once more the cities in which we live. I was in a city in December for several days and it turned out I was very near the winter home of one of our Yelton kin. I did not find that out until I was back home, however. I am not suggesting a roll call, as that is more info than we need; just the city or area where we each live, along with a phone number to call when in the area.
