Hi everyone, Seems pretty funny to see my name in the Subject line..... We got back to PA late last night and still have a few things to unpack and find room for. In the Summer (roughly May to October) we are in York Co., PA. In the Winter (November to April) we are in Palm Beach Co., FL I would be really happy to meet any or all of you any time. To date, I have only met in person, Beth Shields and Suzanne Shephard. Let me tell you guys, they both give great HUGS! It really is amazing to see the similarities we share. As for the differences - that's great to see too. One thing we know we all share is curiosity about our ancestors. Isn't it great that we have found a way to communicate and share with each other! Looking forward to meeting you all one of these days! Iris
my name Is Paul F. Yelton Jr., I live in upstate ny, near Utica,if anyone is in the area give me a call, 315-942-3511.I am a Gulf War Veteran who is fighting the group of illnesses that are only known by the public as Gulf War Syndrome. If anyone knows of any doctors that can be assistance to me please let me know.the va has diagnosed me with a siezure disorder ,possible ms, and CFS. I have not been in touch with your group for a few months now as I have been ill and have been looking for the government to give me answers. so far i have no possitive diognoses and the va says they may never know the cause.through over two years of research and speaking with other gulf era vets, my own conclusion is the multiple vaccinnes the gov. gave me led to my current condition.I have never been a person to ask any one for help, butas my resources wear thin i turn to the yelton online community for any possible help you all may be able to provide,I have all but given up tracing my past family history after the onset of this illness. again i thank you all in advance for any help you may be able to provide and thank you all for your time. sincerely,Paul F. Yelton Jr. Veteran of the Storm

I'm always amazed at how excited I get when I get mail from "family". I think we should try to have a "city" gathering (lunch). Surely, across the country there are those who live close enough to have two or three to get together. I live in Atlanta. So, I think that some of these long lost cousins should at least try it. On the subject of meeting Yelton cousins, I think it would be good to let each other know once more the cities in which we live. I was in a city in December for several days and it turned out I was very near the winter home of one of our Yelton kin. I did not find that out until I was back home, however. I am not suggesting a roll call, as that is more info than we need; just the city or area where we each live, along with a phone number to call when in the area. Here's mine: Henderson, NV (suburb of Vegas), 702-614-9116. Judy Vasiliauskas

Thank you for the invite to stop in and see you if were ever in Atlanta, GA..... I have a best friend who lives in Atlanta, she and I have been like sister's sense we were 8 & 9 year's old, she 8. So perhaps you and I will someday have the opportunity to meet and compare our look's, and share a hug and perhaps laugh's too!..... that sure would be wonderful.... Talk soon... Cuz Deb
I, too, got to meet a Yelton cousin, and have been meaning to write and tell you about it. Suzanne's meeting with Iris spurred me on. I got to spend two wonderful days in March with my cousin Carol Yelton Plato. It seems as though we've been friends since we first "met", on line, through geneology. We corresponded by email and snail mail and occasionally phone calls ... and when we finally met in person, she was even more warm, wonderful, gracious, etc. than I'd ever imagined. Her husband is a terrific man, showing me that marrying a Yelton descendant is certainly a sign of great intelligence. The time I spent with these terrific people was priceless, and I encourage you all to seek out your relatives. It is enormously gratifying. Judy Vasiliauskas

Hello List, Donna Heller Zinn of the PAADAMS-L e-mail list alerted me to the following company who is advertising "genealogy" books for sale. Please don't spend your hard earned cash on this company's product. For more information go to: http://blacksheep.rootsweb.com/morphcorp.htm If you remember a few years back there was Halbert's of Bath, OH and before that NUMA who advertised the same kind of questionable "genealogy" books. This seems to be the same type of scam. Be careful everyone!
