    2. Dear Jennifer Yelton, I would like any information on this also. Perhaps this has some connection. This information is supposedly from the Falmouth newspaper. It is in the obituary of my great grandmother Helena E. Anderson, Fossitt who was buried Jan. 2, 1914 at the age of 74. Her father was Alexander (Sandy) Anderson and Mother was Maria Forsythe. Listed in those still living were a sister MRS. R. H. YELTON and a brother, J. M. Anderson. This is particularly interesting since I am related to the Yeltons and Fossitts and am now married to an Anderson whose ancestors lived around Butler Co. KY. Thank you for any help and I hope this will solve a mystery for both of us. Louise Anderson

    2. Hi cousins, Does anyone have information on a GeorgeAnn Anderson who married Robert Yelton in the 1860s(approx)? I have seen the marriage records but have searched and searched for her parents to no avail, so that branch of my family tree is very short! I'd appreciate so much any information. This was in either Pendleton or Butler counties. Thanks, Jennifer Yelton West Palm Beach FL

    1. Re: [YELTON] Re: Butler County, KY Yeltons
    2. Dear Bob, I am Louise Anderson and I too, am descended from James Yelton and Isabelle Hinson. Going down from them was William C. Yelton b. 1815 and Lydia Belle Wright and then to Enoch W. Yelton b. 1841 and Isabell Amelia Smith who were the parents of my grandmother, Lydia Margaret Yelton b. 1864 and married to my grandfather, Daniel Alexander Fossitt. My mother told me that my grandmother was an orphan and that her father had died in the Civil War but I have not found any thing to back up the fact that he was a soldier in the civil War so perhaps he died during that time. I wish I knew. Her mother married a Hezekiah Dunn. If you are interested in knowing family members from the Yelton-Fossitt union I could supply you with more information. I would love to know more about family also. That does make us related, so, have a good day Cousin! Louise Anderson

Beth, if you are still on the list, > speak up here In answer to the several questions relating to my query - What I have in my database is - Edwin Boone Yelton (7/1/1915 Harshaw, WI - 1st mar. Ruth Martha Goeschl (4/9/1916 Grand Junction, CO - 10/6/1974 (may have lived *Pomona, CA) Chino, CA, bur. Yelton plot in Loma Linda, CA) (d/o Francis Xavier & Mary Ann Wood Goeschl) on 11/8/1936 Van Nuys, CA 2nd mar. Pearle Elvira Smith Porter on 6/15/1974 (10/01 - Marge Parks - information on Ruth & mar. date/place.) (SSDI lists Ruth b/date as 4/9 not 4/8. Agrees w/ d/date. List d/place as *Chino, CA. Card issued in CA.) As you can see my source was Marge Parks. And then the SSDI data. I was looking for the name of the cemetery and location (address). Also wondering - where they div. as his 2nd mar. occurred before her death, OR is this marriage date wrong by a year? Beth

    3. The cemetery may technically be in Redlands or another adjoining town, in San Bernardino County, California. The cemetery may be on the same road as Loma Linda University Medical Center, as I remember passing a cemetery on my way to my doctor's office there when I used to live up that way. -----Original Message----- From: Kathy Lund [mailto:krlund@verizon.net] Sent: Saturday, August 24, 2002 5:14 PM To: YELTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [YELTON] Need Yelton/Goeschl info please Iris, Where did she find the name Loma Linda as having a Yelton Plot. 3. Hi again, Beth is very busy down there in Florida. She has another mystery she would like us to help to solve: "New query - What do you know about - John William Mann marrying a Margaret Yelton of Campbell Co. after his (?) 1st wife died ?? Her name was Elizabeth "Lizzie or Sizzie" Caldwell. I looked in my xerox of Pendleton Co marriages, don't have Campbell Co. for Yeltons, and didn't find anything. He may then have married A. Lightfoot, widow of Wm. Lightfoot." Beth I think she is trying to shake us out of our summer doldrums, isn't that right Beth? Hoping you all can help, Iris iris@reily.org
