I am researching YAGER. I am stumped with a William Edward/Edward W. YAGER. According to 1880 census, he was born abt. 1839 in Ill. with parents listed as born in Ky. He died in 12 Feb. 1907 & is buried in Oak Grove Cem. in Missouri Valley, Harrison, Ia. His wife might have been Rachael HUNT (b) abt. 1841. William YAGER"s tombstone reads Co. M. 1st Mo.Col. C.W. Vet. The children listed are: Harry abt 1861 Winona H. abt. 1865 Nimrod 26 Aug. 1867 Christopher (Kit Carson) 3 Dec. 1869 All listed as being born in Ill. I think this Harry is my Harry YAGER. Harry married Keshia (Kizzie) YOUNG in 1883 in Edwardsvill, Madison, Ill., but was a resident of Harrison Co., Ia. I sure would appreciate any info. available. I will gladly share what I do have.
