Dee I don't have your George in my Yeagers but I do notice what I believe are clues to check out. First was the last name of the lady he married-Criger. I have seen it on the Germanna mailing list I am on and and also Nicholas Yager(Yeager). He came with a group from Germany to Va in 1717. You mentioned a Nicholas,that's clue #two. I also have a Nicholas,my gggranddad. That name was passed down. There's several wonderful sites about the Germanna settlements and it's worth checking into.
