An additional note: the will of "John Yager of the piney woods" entered probate in Madison County, VA on 23 January 1823. The children of John Yager of Laurens Co., SC, are listed in the biographical sketch of Hugh B. Yeager, pp. 932-33, "A Biographical Souvenir of the State of Texas," published F. A. Battey & Co., Chicago, 1889. My apologies.
