    3. Hi Cheryl, Thank you for writing. I wish I could say that your George W. Yeager was my gggrandfather John's brother. I don't know that yet, but I do note none of his ten children was named George. However his son William had a son named George. But does this mean anything at all? I have been down this road before and all I can say for sure is, maybe. Yeager was not all that uncommon. George was very common, so what that all adds up to is an unknown quantity. I am and have been wondering if this John Yeager was born in Germany or Switzerland instead of Pennsylvania? I have been wondering if his date of birth is accurate at 1809? He just doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. I have no record of any of his offspring going to Michigan or Canada to live. In a lot of cases, some of the children or at least one, will go to another location to live and infrequently it will be where some family member already resides. My John Yeager had 10 children. He was supposedly married to Rebecca Raber in Lehigh Co., 29 Jan 1832, but I can find no record to validate that. I have had people checking on my behalf, and they can't find the record. So the mystery continues. I really am at the proverbial dead-end, and have been for some time. I guess I await the miracle that may never come. I will keep an ear to the ground for your George W. Yeager, for your benefit as well as my own. Thanks again for sharing this information with me. Regards, Charles J. Eschman Ft. Myers, Fl.
