Does anyone have a list of reasons to join a project, that you would like to share? Or a good reason or two? I administer a surname project at FTDNA. Some of the members match a man who has the project surname but is not a member of our project. He does not have an email address listed but FTDNA gave me his hardcopy address. You should consider participating in a project if: * You are looking for relevant matches. * You are interested in comparing against others. * You are open to sharing information and working together. I'd like to say something more specific and friendly than that. (I wish I could say that he could get into useful email discussions with the men who match him, but I have tried to get them to discuss their ancestors and they don't seem to want to. Feh.)
