My experience, too. You don't get their email address until after they've joined. My current workaround it to use the More Information option, then, in the textbox, to ask them to please contact me directly, giving my email address. I don't ask them for any information, I just ask them to contact me by email. So far, it's working. Of course, I then copy the fact that the interchange took place into an email sent to myself, so I have a record I can store in Outlook.
