Dora - re your comments about York being a Roman site. Yes it was, you can see examples of Roman columns there today. But you can also go through the Jarvik exhibit of the old Viking settlement There are still Hg I1 folks in the area around York. There is a higher density of I1's there than nearly any other spot in England. I visited there a few years back just to see the Viking exhibit.
