<dr Nordtvedt: Clade has very young MRCA based on the 8 haplotypes --- 1000 years.> It is already the second clade in short time which I see with a young age (recently was I1-Iber; I hope I1-P2 will join this list too). Slowly, we start to notice more clades with their MRCAs in Middle Ages. I see here a research opportunity, because probably there are more such clades in I1. Some of them may be have started either with founders documented in historical sources, or in circumstances which were well documented and/or geographically defined. The more such clades are defined, the more clear picture we can have of the rest of I1 - after filtering out the well defined younger clades. What was the reason for the name I1-Yk? York? See "tree for I1" to see its ancient node with T2 (3900 years ago). I said it was Z63+; that's what it shares with T2.
