The standard format for responding to a message and quoting someone else is to use the full name, if known, and the person's email address. For example, Ken Nordtvedt (knordtvedt@bresnan.net). This information is often located in the header of the previous post. It is good etiquette to cut the other parts of the header out of whatever you sending, since it was already posted previously. Please also edit out whatever is not necessary from the previous message. It has already made it to the list and is archived. There is no need to re-post a message in its entirety.
