Bryan, No one has responded to you as far as I can tell, a while back I asked I2a (I-P37.2) people on this list to contact me and there weren't very many here. You might have better luck at the I2a group at dna.ancestry.com, you can create an account there and enter your marker values (some will need to be converted, maybe they do this automatically) and join the I2a Project there. If you post a question or story there you will be more likely to get a response. This is completely free, no credit card info or trial period required. As you say you are now I2a1 according to FTDNA and very likely will be called I2a1b when you receive L160+ results. Some people on this list use a newer tree, so don't be surprised if you see discussions about I2a1b that don't seem to have much to do with your I-L160 "Sardinian" group. I think your Y-DNA testing has been very successful and I don't seethe need for more tests because one of your distant Fant relatives has Z128- results and another has 67 markers. For studying the branching of your I-L160 group thousands of years ago I would interested in one of you testing 111 markers, but it would be cheapest for the guy with 67 markers to do this. Although a Fant is Z128- there is a very small chance that the Fant family would be positive for one or more of Z119 Z125 Z126 Z127 and either you or any of your Fant matches could test these. But I think the best thing would be to wait a few months or more for more results from the 1000 Genomes project to be released.
