Thank you both. ________________________________ From: Aaron Salles Torres <sallfertorr@yahoo.com> To: y-dna-haplogroup-i@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 12:59 PM Subject: Re: [yDNAhgI] Attention Continentals: SNP Z186 now available on FT DNA! Hi, Rossa 6 of our 8 participants are currently showing on the Finch server as currently in progress. 8 of 8 are showing on GAP as currently in progress. Expected dates officially vary from mid-March to the end of April. In any case, it should be a while before the newly discovered SNP's are available for purchase at FT DNA. Our current M223 WTY participants are (some of them applied independently): 12526 - 3/26/2012 22066 - 3/28/2012 48274 - 3/21/2012 65183 - 3/26/2012 83425 - 4/23/2012 127052 - 3/26/2012 199243 - 4/16/2012 E5922 - 4/23/2012 A note by FT DNA: "Your WTY test is still in progress. The WTY can take some time as each test includes sequencing of three plates of ninety-six Ychromosome PCR segments. We are sequencing in both the forward and the reverse directions. Thus, the average number of total unique bases sequenced on the Y-chromosome will exceed 180 kB. The DNA segments chosen can be considered as randomly chosen regions on the Ychromosome which are unlikely to recombine. There will be no re-runs (unless the sample failed completely or returns results for less than half the expected sequence). Your test results are expected by this date.
