    3. We know almost nothing about when M253 occurred, other than it happened more than 4500 years ago but less than 20,000 or so years ago. See "Tree for I1" at http://knordtvedt.home.bresnan.net You can see I estimate the time range for L338 to be between 2000 years ago and 3200 years ago. MRCA for I1-AS1 was about 2000 years ago.
