    3. If you are the Reed in AS10b clade I have you in my BigY comparison spread sheet. There are many Z59+ Z60- in that spreadsheet, but you are alone with not close neighbors. You have lots of unique novel variants not shared by the others. This just means you presently represent a separate branch which separated quite early in time from the rest of Z59+ You need another AS10b clade member to share some of those novel variants Kenneth Nordtvedt Haplogroup I Clade Modalities and Trees at: http://knordtvedt.home.bresnan.net -----Original Message----- From: Richard Reed Sent: Monday, May 19, 2014 8:15 PM To: Y-DNA-HAPLOGROUP-I@rootsweb.com Subject: [yDNAhgI] Terminal SNP I1-z60* I've tested all downstream SNPs to Z60, all negative. I have a pile of Novel Variants from the BigY but not sure how to weed them or interpret them. There must be a private SNP in there somewhere. Any advice? 3. I am that AS10b. And I plan to offer testing for a private SNP to the genetic cluster that I am part of in the Reed Project. They have cooled their interest or ran out of money or both. I am also the only 111STR in the project too. I tested very close to several non-Reed I1-m253s, in STRs, until the 94th marker where we parted very quickly. Waiting for FTDNA to identify a private SNP for my Novel Variants may take until December. And then they will upgrade the tree in all the wrong places I'm sure. 3. You don't need ftdna to identify your "private snps". That is fairly evident.
