It looks like YBrowse now has basically all FGC SNPs from FGC1 to FGC13735, with just a few gaps. By entering, for example, FGC1* in the search box at YBrowse, one is shown a list of up to 1000 FGC SNPs beginning with "FGC1", sorted by Y chromosome position. Similarly, FGC11* in the search box would show a list of up to 1000 FGC SNPs beginning with "FGC11". So one can without too much difficulty determine the Y chromosome positions of all of the entered FGC SNPs. The ancestral and derived alleles for any SNP can be seen by clicking on that particular SNP name. It gives me "not found" no matter what location I put into it. Ken, List the locations and I will see what I can find. John O'Grady ---------------------------------------- > > It gives me "not found" no matter what location I put into it. > > > > Kenneth Nordtvedt
Can't yet put in location and get snp. But scrolling will allow location to find name easy enough. 10 new snps divide L813 sector of I1 tree. Not one of them is listed in FGC series or any other series for that matter. Strange.
