First L338+ AS8 clade person’s BigY results were released today but in different format from earlier BigYs. But it can be determined that AS8 is derived for all BigY snps phyloequivalent to L338 and YSC0000261, but it is ancestral for all further downstream snps which remain unique to AS1 at the moment. See “BigYtree-L338 AS1” Because FTDNA radically changed format of BigY releases, there is no efficient way right now to extract AS8 clade Mr A’s downstream snps, so I won’t.
